Welcome to GentlePup — the story of one anxious rescue, a lot of bad advice, and the tools that finally worked.
Hi, I'm Giovana. Before GentlePup, I spent years as a pet sitter. Anxious rescues, boisterous puppies, old boys chasing the sunny spot on the floor. Almost every owner apologised for the same thing: the barking.
Then came our own anxious rescue, and with him a lot of well-meaning, bad advice. Shock collars. Spray bottles. "Just be firmer." None of it felt right, and none of it worked. Fear teaches a dog to go quiet. It doesn't teach them to feel calm.
So we built the tools we wished existed: a gentle ultrasonic cue that interrupts the bark, a treat pouch that keeps rewards within reach so the quiet gets marked in the moment, and the everyday essentials that make calm walks easy. That became GentlePup.
Gentle by design
Nothing we make relies on fear or force. A soft cue, a quick reward, a little consistency — that's the whole method, and it's the test every product has to pass before it earns a place in the box.
Every order goes out from our small Brisbane team. Try anything we make for 30 days with your own dog. If it's not right for them, send it back.
